folie a deux, folie a
tois are: a madness shared by two or three.
Statement:
It's possible that everyone
who is diagnosed with folie a deux, folie a tois, and acarophobia actually have
an infestation of
skin parasites, mites and or skin fungus. Not that they do, but it's possible.
Premise:
Testing and diagnosing for
skin parasites, mites and skin fungus is relatively an unknown in the
USA. Most specialist limit
themselves to plug (biopsy) samples and perhaps blood tests.
The Problem:
A book from the local library, Life That Lives on Man written by an
Englishman and published in the late 70's spoke extensively of how little
physicians know of parasites that live on man and how easily they diagnose the
problem as a fear. The book went into great length how to sample the skin for
different mites by trapping them with oil, yet none of the physicians I
consulted used any similar method, much less knew what to look for or how to
sample for them.
Personal Case History:
Yes, I was diagnosed with folie a deux, folie a tois, and acarophobia. My
physician seemed to think that explained the tormenting hell I lived in for two
years with itching to the point I felt I was being eaten alive. To see if this
might explain your predicament,
