Approaches and Therapies'  --

For Morgellons, there are several basic approaches you'll find mentioned if you follow the message boards and they are in no particular order"

ionic minerals (copper, sulfur, zinc, molybdenum, silver). I used them for two months and developed stomach pains and found the minerals ineffective. The protocol was to use 1/4 teaspoon of copper and 1/2 tablespoon of sulfur in the morning followed by two teaspoons of molybdenum, 1/2 tablespoon zinc, and 1/2 tablespoon of silver in the evening.

Rife machine (a device that can be set to produce a specific frequency which destroys bacteria, fungus, virus, yeast, nematodes...) there's a different protocol for each unwanted organism. the unit is hand held and sells for from $900 to $1,400. Herbal Cleanses usually with herbal pumpkin, walnut...

Barfoot herbal dewormer at www.restorebody.com  Following in my experience: It's one tablespoon in the morning and one in the evening for a month. I ordered two bottles it from www.restorebody.com along with the kidney cleanse and have since learned that it is also a liver cleanse as well which is one teaspoon before bed for six weeks. From my understanding, the best way to detoxify the liver is by fasting (which is what they also recommend) and drinking green drinks or Sango Coral Calcium which is what I also did. They have a kidney cleanse as well. In the meantime I figured out that the offending ingredient in the dark pumpernickel is yeast so I figure dark pumpernickel is probably OK but can't find a source for the bread that doesn't use yeast, but I did find spelt bread without yeast or soy lecithin.

The product is Barefoot Herbal De-Wormer and contains male bud, immature green hull and young twig of the back walnut tree, olive tree leaf/rt, bark, clove, pumpkin seed, wormwood, raw vinegar, and glycerine/alcohol and wild oregano oil.  Click here for more info. I've listed them in case there are any particular unrelated allergies to any of the ingredients in which case I wouldn't order it.  I began taking one tablespoon in the morning and one at night and noticed nothing for three days. On the fourth day I noticed crawling sensation on my body during the day (rare that this occurs). At first I wondered if I messed up my diet, but I looked at my notes and confirmed that nothing new was being tested. The difference though was that the crawling only lasted a few minutes and then stopped. On rare occasions, I felt a sharp bite for a few seconds and then it stopped.

For the next two days and nights, much more of the same. I had bathed in Epson salts and treated my body with tea tree oil (terrible smelling stuff) before retiring to bed and within three hours noticed crawling on and off on every part of my body--no more biting. I surmised that the larvae are located in one of the deeper layers of skin and are brought life with a food source that brings them to the surface to feed on bacteria from the sugars and carbs we eat, where they quickly grow to the point they want to reenter the body and gestate into the adult worm. The de-wormer apparently was poisoning them, and they were heading to the surface for relief, but were too weak and toxic to survive. And since there was nothing for them to consume as I continued on stage I of the diet, they quickly died off. As time advances, I'll have lots more to report. I was on the herbal dewormer for thirty days at one tablespoon in the morning and one at night. As long as I stayed on the diet, all symptoms were gone except for the unhealed lesions that have been with me for over a decade—some minor progress in them shrinking.  I went off the diet for birthday cake and noticed the crawling larvae within 36 hrs plus new papules. I can report that the dewormer at the recommended dosage did nothing other than kill some larvae in the beginning of treatment. I notice in some literature that for tape worms, they recommend much larger dosage over shorter period of time. I can only report that it’s a waste of money at the dosage I used.

Diet

If Morgellons is complicated via protozoan or Lyme disease, then medical protocols are:

1. Mepron for protozoan (covered extensively in the medical approach section).

2. Bactrim or Zithromax antibiotics coupled with anti fungals for Lyme disease (covered extensively in the medical approaches section of the report)

salt and Vitamin C boost to maximize antibiotic treatment.  The extra salt raised my blood pressure and I didn't notice any imporvment after six weeks at which time I discontinued the extra salt and continued as with the vitamin C

3. Samento for Lyme (Dr. James Howenstein at http://www.newswithviews.com/Howenstine/james26.htm

Herbal Remedies for Lyme: Healing Lyme by Stephen Buhner through Amazon at roughly $14.  He describes an herbal protocol with powerful herbs as a core treatment for Lyme, or as an augment to antibiotics.  It is a must read for the technical explanation of the spirochete and to have as an arsenal if antibiotics prove to fail.

Mercury
Some parasitilogists find that the amalgam filings in our teeth are the culprit to diminishing the immune response and the answer it to get rid of the amalgam filings. Others also report that parasites are attracted to mercury and recommend heavy metal detox.

This website is excellent. (http://www.mercuryexposure.org/)  We are getting an abundance of Mercury in our systems trying to fight this microrganism. Read especially about the nematode.  Unbelievable, this organism is attracted to Mercury, the new light bulbs have Mercury in them, UV bulbs give off Mercury. But we are getting an over exposure of Mercury. Ever wonder why we had to remove our Mercury fillings? These organisms were attracted to those fillings, get it? This is why we are being told to DETOX.

Flushing heavy metals
Mobilization and excretion are required for heavy metal detoxification. Supplements work in conjunction with the IV treatment to flush heavy metal toxins from the cells and remove them from the body. Without the proper detoxification protocol, heavy metals may just redistribute in the body, instead of being removed. Some of the supplements used in heavy metal detox include:
Fundamental Sulphur II contains Molybdenum and Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), ! which are helpful for protection against heavy metals in general and specifically useful in mercury toxicity. Garlic has similar properties. Anti-Mutagens contain N-acetyl-cystiene, which enhances the body's ability to excrete mercury Chlorella facilitates heavy metal removal, primarily through the stool Alfalfa increases one's fiber intake. This reduces the uptake of heavy metals in the intestines Cilantro also helps mobilize heavy metals.
The DMPS IV contains DMSO (Dimethyl sulfoxide). DMSO crosses the blood- brain barrier, and is an excellent agent to help transport other substances throughout the body. DMPS binds with mercury and removes it from the body. Glutathione and Vitamin C are antioxidants, and also bind with mercury.
The length of treatment varies, depending on the patient's level of toxicity, the frequency of treatment, as well as how the patient responds to treatment. Mercury toxicity may be resolved in as l! ittle as six to nine months for the first phase. This is then followed by a phase using the Homeopathic medications. Often patients also have problems with other heavy metals, such as cadmium and lead. These patients may require a longer and more intense detoxing program.

Bentonite Clay. Can be used externally and internally. A subscriber writes. I've been using the clay about two weeks and it has healed all my obvious skin issues, (my lower abdomen still itches and I still feel like I have glass under my clothes, but not rashes or lesions), and I think it could be very helpful to others. I have been using it topically and now I'm starting to take it as an internal cleanse, (as its intended). I did though order the Eco Vie also!
