Which would you rather have, bad brain or bad teeth?? Stupid question, right? Actually, you can have both a great brain and great teeth and gums and stay away from fluoride. In fact fluoride may contribute to dental fluorosis. In some cities, up to 80% of children have it. "The signs are whitish flecks or spots, particularly on the front teeth, or dark spots or stripes in more severe cases," according to a report, Fluoride, Teeth, and the Atomic Bomb written in 1997. It also finds brittle bones associated with absorption of fluoride.
They use fluoride to produce the atomic bomb, and the article explains the politics of how the government made fluoride appear safe to the public. This was back in the 1950's.
"The US Centers for Disease Control call the fluoridation of water “one of 10 great public health achievements of the 20th century.”
"But the World Health Organization considers fluoride a naturally occurring toxin." This is a quote from a post in Be Brain Fit, Flouride is a Neurotoxin--9 Ways it Harms Your Brain
Seems that the World Health Organization and the CDC do not agree. The post provides nine ways that fluoride is a danger :
1. Fluoride just happens to be a neurotoxin which affects the brain before birth and is linked to ADHD, autism, lower IQ and dyslexia.
2. Children drinking water with fluoride have lower IQ than those who don't drink water with fluoride.
3. Fluoride is like a magnet for aluminum to enter the brain. Those with Alzheimer's disease are found to have aluminum in the brain and fluoride gives aluminum a free ride into the brain.
4. Fluoride displaces iodine which leads to hypothyroidism resulting in memory loss, brain fog, anxiety, lack of focus, depression and so on.
5. Fluoride contributes to nervous system degeneration: emotional regulation, memory, learning issues, diminished stress response, sensory perception, conscious thought, language skills issues, balance, coordination and the sciatic nerve.
6. Fluoride effects the pineal gland and screws up melatonin leading to depression and seasonal affective disorders, sleeping problems, calcification, and brain aging.
7. Fluoride leaches out lead from faucets (even some new faucets have lead) and water pipes. Lead poisioning is another enemy big to the human body for another fifty reasons.
8. Fluoride is linked to ADHD.
9. Paxil, Zoloft, Prozac, and Lexapro contain fluoride and can really contribute to depression.
And here's surprise, if you use an antiperspirant, it makes for the perfect storm. Antiperspirants contain aluminum. What to do: Switch to deodorants--deodorants do not contain aluminum.
The problem is that most brand name tooth pastes contain fluoride. Search for one on line that is free of fluoride or go to your health food store. A healthy option is to simply use baking soda, as I reported in a previous blog entry.
Personally, I got to a place where I had advanced case gum disease. I countered it by using baking soda as a tooth paste, NG mouth wash, nano glutathione, and flossing daily. The glutathione rebuilds the cells and the mouth wash deeply cleans the gums
What to do if your municipal water is injected with fluoride: Use quality bottled water instead. I only use distilled water and infuse it with ionic minerals. If, on the other hand, you use water treatment for your drinking water, make sure the fluoride is removed.
Many diseases involve brain fog, hyperthyroidism, memory issues, coordination, depression, sleeping issues, and so on that can also be linked to fluoride. The good news is that boosting glutathione greatly helps with all of these issues, but why not get rid of the root of the issue and kill fluoride--that's something in your control and you'll be far healthier for doing so. |
