Eliminate the Stress of 10 Dangerous Health Hazards in the House 10/10/19

Doctors are often unable to determine the exact cause of sudden illnesses. The Doctor's Hand Book states that 80% of their patients are actually dealing with stress related illnesses. And there are 10 common hazardous things in your home that should first be ruled out.

1.  Your bedding and mattress becomes the perfect home for dust mites that feed on dead skin particles if not cleaned regularly.  Cnet states your bed could be home to up to 10 million dust mites.

Washing bedding weekly is recommended. Your mattress needs to be sanitized every two weeks in addition to flipping your mattress and rotating so the head of the bed is at the end of the bed.

Parasites can cause skin irritation, eczema, allergies and lesions. To help your skin, specific creams are available to deep clean your skin and bring back that youthful luster. Polyphenol supplements also help the skin from the inside.

2.
Kitchen chopping boards with deep scratches need to be replaced.  The debate as weather to use wooden or plastic chopping boards has been put to rest.  All Science Fair Projects conducted bacterial count experiments concluding that wooden chopping boards are safer than old plastic chopping boards.  Bacteria on the surface of wooden chopping boards will be pulled into the wood by capillary action and once inside the wood will eventually die. Although plastic boards are easier to clean being non porous, deep scratches allow for growth of bacteria.

Avoiding cross contamination by having separate chopping boards for meat, veg and dry foods like bread.  Regular cleaning and allowing chopping boards to dry is best. Use a deep cleaning bio degradable cleaner on your chopping blocks.

3.
Air vents in your air conditioning system build up moisture which attracts a wide assortment of creatures and mildew that may cause severe health issues. What should be providing you with fresh air now becomes an air pollutant and requires regular cleaning. Commercial cleaning is available or you can do it yourself with an electrostatic sprayer by spraying a cleaning solution into the intake of the ventilation system.

4.  Dampness in your home will soon bring forward a life force of mold/fungus which then attracts parasites namely Collembolla which live symbiotically with mold/fungus. Ensure your home is well ventilated and has adequate sunlight. You can also use ozone to destroy mold, bacteria, mildew, and so on.

5.
Your pets bring in all sorts of microbes, parasites and fungi they pick up from the soil. Keeping pets out the bedroom ensures your body is able to repair and heal at ease whilst you are sleeping.

6.
Replacing chemicals to keep your environment safe and going natural using things you already have in the home like vinegar and baking soda. Use bio-friendly cleaners such as Go Planet Green's Degreaser, Laundry soap and Hand Soap to replace the soaps containing chemicals as reported in blog post Common Ingredients in Most Laundry Products Increase Stress.

7. Avoid smoking inside your home as smoke contains carcinogens and induces the release of mycotoxins. This video shows the effects of smoking in a home.  Why some babies got critically ill from the Ergot Fungus and others not.  Investigation showed the common denominator being parents were smoking in the home. If you must smoke in your home, use either ozone, as described earlier, to clear the air of contaminants or spray your furniture with enzymes to get out the smell. The electrostatic sprayer, previously mentioned, can be used to more effectively distribute the enzymes.

8.
Old paint containing toxic additives namely lead may still be under your existing paint.  Healthline states lead is a highly toxic metal. Lead slowly builds up in the body resulting in serious and sometimes fatal conditions.  Healthline also mention's other items in your home that may contain lead and the symptoms of lead toxicity in the body. Increase your glutathione levels to detoxify lead from your body.

9.
Your bath mat, shower, bath, kitchen sink and fridge are areas exposed to moisture and need to be cleaned regularly to avoid the growth of mold and other pathogens. These areas also need to be well ventilated.

Pour an 1/8 cup of bleach or ammonia (not combined) down drains once every week or two to disinfect. Alternatively, you can use spent sachets from coral calcium after having used them in your drinking water.

10.
Carpets are the perfect trap for pollutants, dust mite, pet parasites, dirt, dust and mold spores in addition to toxic gasses in the air that stick to small particles forming a film of toxic debris under your carpets. These toxic compounds become airborne with daily activities of walking and vacuuming.

Carpets are made from synthetic fibers that have been treated with toxic chemicals and Emit VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) in your home. A healthier choice would be wooden or tiled flooring with natural carpet rugs like wool and hemp. Make sure these have not been chemically treated and bear the Green Label Plus Certification Logo as per The Carpet and Rug Institute.  Use all natural bio degradable cleaners on your rugs.

Is there additional evidence supporting the fact that your environment plays a huge role in dictating your health?

Indeed Yes!

The Science of Epigenetics is the way your genes are influenced by your environment.

•  Encyclopedi states, Our genes "Listen" to the environment in complex ways that affect our health and behavior.  The diets, many iterative diseases, drugs, toxins, stress, our lifestyle and where we live can modify both the host cells and their DNA.

Do you know how drastically we are effected by our environment?

•  Live Science mentions how Scott and Mark Kelly, identical twins -- at least they were until Scott spent a year in space.  He was two inches taller, his body weight had decreased and his gut bacteria were completely different.  His gene expression had changed that altered the astronauts immune system, bone formation, eye sight and other bodily processes.

Interestingly he has shrunk back down to his initial "prespace flight" height.

•  Identical twins brought up in different environments also change.

•  Thousands of people have healed just from moving out of their moldy homes.

Take care of these 10 dangerous health hazards to create a better home, be healthier and reduce the stress that can be a result of these ten health hazards!
