My Dog Got Run Over By A Rainbow

In my private practice, where I worked with hundreds and hundreds of
clients from all walks of life for over twenty years, I was hard pressed to find one person who had healthy self esteem.

Why? Answer: They all built their self esteem from their status or accomplishments in life or were into comparing themselves with someone else who always seemed to be better in some respect than they were.

You see, most of us get our self esteem from the various CAPs we wear in life. For instance, we are someone's dad, or wife... or we have a position in the corporate world, or we are devoted to a political cause, or we have certain talents, skills, physical appearance...associated with our age, or we have a devotion to the promotion of an organization or we have pride in our financial position (stocks, bonds, real estate, collections), or we have a very active social life and have lots of important contacts, or we have deep family ties.

As long as our relationship with our various CAPS is good and healthy, we can feel good about ourselves. However, should a tragedy strike and destroy any of those relationships, a life crisis is often the result and our self esteem is "down the toilet" as we feel useless and a failure.

Building self esteem is about learning how to take off our various CAPS.
C for corporate status
A for age (physical talents, appearance...)
P for or political  agenda
S for our active social life
O for the various organizations we promote
F for our financial achievements
F for our family associations.

The goal is to recognize that we have CAPS instead of identifying and being any of our CAPS

It's to discover how you can feel badly about  a "bad hair day" and still like yourself. Or, how you can feel badly about making a mistake or failing at something and still like yourself. Or how you can feel badly about the loss of finances, your job, or any loss and like yourself. And yes, even laugh at yourself.

Instead of resisting the uncomfortable and much hated emotions of hurt, anger, depression, confusion, disappointment, hatred, self loathing, and so on, you learn how to feel and embrace them to move through them quickly and always like yourself. Yes, to move beyond hurt and:
► turn the situation in your favor
► forget and move on
► benefit and profit from the problem
► unleash your creativity to solve the problem

You lean how to become independent of needing results or to maintain something to have a high level of self esteem.
My Dog Got Run Over by a Rainbow reveals the secret to do exactly that and free you needing the good opinion of others.
